The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) is exploring a potential partnership with Uganda Airlines to support Uganda’s national football teams at all levels.
The discussions were held in Kampala on the sidelines of the CAF African Cup of Nations Kenya–Tanzania–Uganda commercial roadshow, with FUFA President Hon. Moses Hassim Magogo meeting the Uganda Airlines Chief Executive Officer and his technical team.
The engagement focused on exploring areas of cooperation between the national carrier and Uganda’s national teams, potentially strengthening travel and logistical support as Uganda continues to expand its football programmes.
Magogo also expressed appreciation to Uganda Airlines for its role as the country’s national carrier and for the work it continues to do in connecting Uganda to the region and beyond.
The discussions come as East Africa continues preparations for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations, which will be jointly hosted by Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania.
