KAMPALA — NEC FC return to MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo, on Tuesday with their sights firmly set on maximum points when they face URA FC in the Uganda Premier League.
The Diehards have made an unbeaten start to the 2026/27 campaign, collecting seven points from three matches to sit third on the table.
After being held to a goalless draw by Mbarara City in their previous match, NEC will be eager to return to winning ways in front of their home supporters.
URA, meanwhile, come into the contest with three points from two matches after their Matchday 3 fixture was postponed due to Kitara FC’s continental commitments.
NEC have received a boost with the return of Richard Basangwa and Tonny Atukunda, who have recovered from injuries. Fahad Bayo, Ibrahim Musa and Hakim Wandera, however, remain unavailable.
The two sides have met six times in the Premier League, with NEC winning three, drawing two and losing once.
